Description
For our client, a leading industrial company in the field of flavors and fragrances, we are looking for a Digital Communications Manager.
Reports to: Head of Corporate Communications
Duration: March to December 2025 (maternity leave replacement + Intranet assessment support)
Overall mission:
Lead strategic digital projects and continuous improvement of digital platforms that aligns with business needs. The person will deliver tactical and strategic planning, implementation and project management of integrated digital initiatives. Working in a matrix organisation, the person collaborates closely with IT and the business divisions and functions.
Main responsibilities:
· Follow up the Digital and Social Media tactical plan ensuring a timely and high-quality implementation.
· Defining, planning, project managing, delivering and monitoring digital communications initiatives (Website, Intranet and Social Media) in collaboration with the Digital Communications Team.
· Lead the continuous improvement of the website, including coordinating necessary content updates with the digital communications team as well as the integration of features, components, design elements as required.
· Ensure compliance across our platforms and alignment with regulations externally (European Accessibility Act, GDPR, etc.) and internally (digital brand guidelines, website and intranet governance, policies, etc.).
· Establish KPIs reporting and manages data to analyse insights for continuous improvement, optimisation and performance tracking.
· Leads, together with IT and HR, the assessment and development of a business case to elevate our Digital workplace based on evolving employee and business needs.
· Supports the corporate communications team in all related digital activities (events, crisis, etc.).
Primary qualifications:
· University education in digital communications or digital media / marketing
· 10+ years professional experience with strong track record in digital communications, especially the development and management of internal and external digital platforms
· Fluent in English. French and additional languages a plus
· Work experience for multinational companies or agencies in global positions
Technical competencies:
· Strong knowledge in digital and technological aspects that influences communications tools and technologies
· Strong experience in web content management systems (Drupal)
· Strong experience in digital workplace / Intranets management systems (Microsoft, Google, Happeo, etc.)
· Strong attention to business needs and user-first oriented
· Strong Project Management skills with solid experience
· Knowledge on data and insights management / web analytics and SEO
· Knowledge of social media management
· Familiar with HTML, CSS, PHP, Javascript
· Experienced in managing digital teams and agencies
· Understanding of technical terms and experience on working with IT teams and developers
