We are actively seeking an EDA Manager based in Switzerland (Lausanne). In this role, you are responsible for working with multi-site teams to drive the design implementation, simulations, and to successful tape-outs.

Responsibility :
Manage a diverse, multi-site EDA/CAD/PDK team – responsibility for hiring, resourcing, scheduling, upskilling, mentoring, performance reviews, reporting
Be the voice of the EDA/CAD/PDK team. Manages workload, schedules projects, assign resources and provide updates to internal management
Responsible for developing project environments, methodologies and mixed-signal design flows for IC and System design engineers
Train and support in the development of design flows for multi-site engineering teams using industry standard EDA software such as Cadence, Mentor, Synopsys, Cliosoft, etc.

Skills :
Strong communicator with a track record of delivering technical solutions and satisfying customers
Deep understanding of project execution requirements
Strong investigative skills to analyze problems, identify root causes, and ability to develop and implement solutions.
Collaborate with diverse teams of technical specialists, developing and supporting deep-submicron IC development flows and tools
Self-motivated, with strong sense of ownership and responsibility
Must possess strong written & verbal communication and interpersonal skills
Demonstrable team building and leadership skills

Experience :
10+ years’ experience in IC Design or EDA/CAD Engineering
Demonstrable, strong experience with multiple EDA/CAD flows in digital, analog and mixed-signal designs: frontend, backend, testability, validation and verification methodologies
Hands-on knowledge of industry advanced tools and techniques
Experience in Data Management tool for analog, digital and mixed-signal projects (Cliosoft, GIT, SVN)
Strong experience in EDA Tools Admin (usage, installation, licensing)
Expert in management and efficient usage of computer farms (job scheduling, load balance)
Skilled in managing a team, delivering quality support to the designers
Experience in leading and working with teams across different geographical sites
