Expert Hand over and commissioning

The expert will work under the supervision of the UNOG/SHP Senior Project Manager to develop the developing- handover- and commissioning strategies and to monitor the execution of the steps associated to that process.
The commissioning expert will liaise with the Contractors, the SHP teams and the future end users (ICTS, SSS and FMS) to ensure the participation of the relevant point of contact for each discipline during the commissioning and handover of the sections of works, which include tasks ranging from the review of the commissioning plan to the signature of the substantial completion form and transfer to the end users, followed by the monitoring of the punch list resolution.

The Commissioning Expert shall perform the following tasks:
Participate in developing- handover- and commissioning strategies. Liaise with the existing facilities management group;
Help integrate commissioning plan into construction documents and follow-up through construction and handover;
Organize relevant training for operators.
Assist in reviewing design and construction submittals in the context of assessing compliance with the project objectives, building codes and quality standards.
Prepare support material for meetings with internai clients and stakeholders.
Participate in meetings to determine requirements of SHP for input and review construction from end-users.
Perform periodic site quality assurance inspections, including observation reports during the handover period.
Monitor handover and commissioning activities in accordance with the contract specification reqûirements.
Review close out documentation including Operation & Maintenance as-built drawings.
Prepare monthly reports and forecasts regarding handover activities.
Perform any other tasks as required by the SHP Senior Project Manager to achieve the SHP objectives.
