For our client, we are currently looking for a Middle Office Private Equity Specialist.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Transaction Processing and Monitoring:

    • Execute and monitor private equity transactions including capital calls, distributions, and fund investments.
    • Liaise with investment teams to ensure accurate and timely settlement of transactions.
    • Maintain and update investment records, ensuring data accuracy and compliance with regulatory requirements.
  2. Portfolio Management:

    • Assist in the preparation and review of portfolio performance reports.
    • Coordinate with the front office to gather necessary information for ongoing portfolio analysis.
    • Ensure that portfolio data is accurately reflected in internal systems and external reports.
  3. Valuation and Reconciliation:

    • Work closely with the finance and accounting teams to ensure accurate valuation of private equity holdings.
    • Conduct regular reconciliation of portfolios with fund administrators and custodians.
    • Review and validate financial statements and capital account balances from general partners.
  4. Investor Relations Support:

    • Provide support to the investor relations team by preparing reports and presentations for clients and stakeholders.
    • Manage communication with limited partners (LPs) regarding capital calls, distributions, and other fund-related activities.
  5. Compliance and Risk Management:

    • Ensure compliance with internal controls, policies, and regulatory requirements.
    • Assist in the development and implementation of risk management processes specific to private equity investments.
    • Monitor and report on regulatory changes that could impact private equity operation

Description du profil :

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field. A Master's degree or professional qualification (CFA, CAIA) is a plus.
  • Experience: 5-7 years of experience in middle office, fund administration, or private equity operations.
  • Skills:
    • Strong knowledge of private equity structures, transactions, and reporting.
    • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
    • Attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks under tight deadlines.
    • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
