Geophysicist Senior

Mandatory requirements:
Master’s or PhD in Geophysics, Geosciences, or a related field.
Minimum 7 years of experience in seismic processing and interpretation within the oil & gas industry.
Proficiency in industry-standard geophysical software (e.g., Petrel, Kingdom, GeoTeric, Paradigm, or similar).
Strong understanding of rock physics, AVO analysis, inversion techniques, and seismic attribute analysis.
Experience working in diverse geological settings, preferably in Africa.
Strong communication skills in English.

Key Responsibilities:
Conduct in-depth seismic interpretation to define structural and stratigraphic frameworks.
Familiar with advanced geophysical methods including velocity model building for time/depth conversion, and advanced imaging techniques. Integrate geophysical data with geological and petrophysical datasets for comprehensive subsurface evaluations and reservoirs characterization.
Collaborate with geologists and reservoir engineers to enhance reservoir models.
QC and validate seismic processing workflows to ensure data accuracy and reliability.
Experience in providing technical recommendations for seismic acquisition and reprocessing projects desirable.
Support exploration and field development planning with high-quality geophysical analyses.
Present findings and recommendations to internal teams and external stakeholders.
