Description du poste
We are recruiting for a client seeking an experienced GL Accountant W/ to manage intercompany accounting processes within SAP, ensuring compliance with group policies. This role involves overseeing AP and AR intercompany transactions, monthly intercompany reporting, and supporting process optimization and digitalization initiatives. The position includes managing an offshore resource to enhance the efficiency of intercompany operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the intercompany generic mailbox.
- Process AP intercompany invoices, from posting to payment.
- Train and supervise an offshore resource for intercompany tasks.
- Issue intercompany marginal invoices (cost recharges).
- Monitor overdue intercompany invoices and address disputes.
- Perform closing activities (accruals, reconciliations, etc.).
- Conduct intercompany reconciliations and month-end reporting.
- Analyze and resolve P&L and balance sheet discrepancies.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives for process optimization and digitalization.
- Oversee commission processes, including agreement collection, SAP tracking, and timely agent payments.
- Collaborate with the GL and controlling team to support various financial projects.
Profile
- Bachelor's degree in accounting, an accounting certificate, or an equivalent qualification.
- 3-5 years of professional experience in accounting or a similar role.
- Solid experience in accounts payable (AP) and accounts receivable (AR).
- Proficiency in financial reconciliation, reporting, and process improvement.
- Familiarity with SAP or similar ERP systems is a strong advantage.
- Excellent command of English (spoken and written).
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel, and Power Query.
