About the role :

As a Global Innovation Marketing Manager in the Respiratory team, you will be responsible to design and deliver breakthrough innovation that meets unmet or underserved consumer needs, builds our brands equity and grows the business in line with our category growth ambitions.

This is a critical role to our ability to deliver our category strategy and corporate commitments. We are looking for a consumer-centric, experienced marketer with passion on upstream innovation and strong leadership skills, ability to sort through complexity and manage projects effectively to hit out innovation goals. This role reports into the Respiratory Global Innovation Lead, who strategizes and oversees delivery of the full innovation pipeline across the broader respiratory category.

You will be tasked to build the innovation pipeline for a respiratory subcategory, defining big bets, leading ideation, concept development, prototyping and project management through key project milestones all the way to in-market execution, all in partnership with multifunctional resources and Business Units.

Key responsibilities :

Design and deliver the global innovation pipeline for a specific partition of the Respiratory category (be it Cold & Flu, Cough, Allergy, Nasal Decongestion, or others) to support the growth ambitions in our Global Respiratory strategy. Lead the multifunctional team towards aligned innovation goals, overcoming day-to-day project challenges, managing project risks and securing on-time delivery across project milestones. Combine New Product/Packaging innovation with Business Continuity Plans, Value Engineering and Marketing-led innovation as required to hit global growth targets. Support BUs in driving in-market success of innovation and ideation/delivery of their Simple Innovation.

Qualifications and experience required :

Innovation experience with a proven track record in designing and delivering global innovation across multiple markets, preferably in complex and fragmented environments like Respiratory.
Passion for deep consumer understanding, including market research, insights mining and familiarity with segmentation techniques.
Solid foundational marketing skills: concepts development; consumer, customer and expert story telling; design experience.
Effective project management, with problem solving and risk-taking skills to keep projects on track as feasibility challenges arise.
Multifunctional team leadership, with the ability to bring heterogenous teams together in the pursue of a common goal.
