KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Lead and manage the internal & external Development and Sustainability team in line with good governance and high-quality management practices
• Oversees FIVB’s Volleyball Development, E-learning and Educational programmes and special initiatives/projects as required
• Develop and lead FIVB Sustainability Strategy
• Oversee, manage and support FIVB Development and Sustainability Commissions
• Prepare project reports and present them to Internal & external stakeholders as required
• Develop, plan and manage Dept. budget
• Collaborate internally with FIVB and Volleyball World Depts/colleagues to successfully enhance FIVB support invested into approved projects & activities.
• Serve as the FIVB Operation interface to the FIVB Volleyball Foundation
• Establish and maintain excellent relations with Confederations, National Federations, Zonal Associations and lead the team of internal and external members.
• Actively participate in activities where necessary to achieve FIVB’s strategic plans/goals
• Actively participate in meetings and forums
o Be part of the FIVB Leadership meetings/activities, and
o Dept meetings/activities
• Support the FIVB President, FIVB leadership and FIVB staff onsite as needed
• Liaise and engage the IOC Olympic Solidarity team to support FIVB National Federation projects.
• Plan and coordinate FIVB leadership/ delegation visits to National Federations, projects.
• Produce communications materials about various department activities (e.g. slide decks, talking points, brochure content etc.)
• Leads DAS department, by example and empowers team members to take responsibility .

Excellent knowledge of volleyball and beach volleyball and sustainability best practices in these sports. First-hand knowledge of tools and solutions to enhance the development of the national teams and players.
