Are you ready to lead the charge in transforming our technology landscape? As the Head of Infrastructure, Technologies and Operations (IT&O), you will define our technology strategy. Your mission will be to modernize our infrastructure, guide the development of digital products, enhance our data capabilities, and ensure cybersecurity measures. Join us in creating seamless technology operations that empower our organization to succeed in a digital-first world.
You will work in Vernier reporting to the Head of IT.
Your main responsibilities:
Strategic Leadership: Develop a technology vision and roadmap that aligns with our digital goals.
Innovation Driver: Identify, select, and implement the latest technology solutions to improve our existing systems and explore new technologies.
Resource Optimization: Shape our tech strategy to ensure efficient resource use and evaluation of new systems and architectures.
Risk Management: Assess risks associated with new technologies and establish safety measures to protect our assets.
Industry Trends: Stay ahead of the curve by keeping updated on technology trends and promoting a culture of innovation.
Governance and Operations:
Performance Oversight: Define tech requirements, negotiate vendor contracts, and ensure performance of IT services.
Efficiency Champion: Improve IT efficiency and cost-effectiveness while maintaining secure systems in collaboration with InfoSec.
Operational Excellence: Oversee IT operations, including service management, application support, and network services, while managing system performance and incident responses.
Budget Management: Track technology performance metrics and manage budgets, using feedback for continuous improvement.
Team Leadership:
High-Performing Team Builder: Foster and lead a tech team, ensuring that skills align with our evolving needs.
Mentorship and Development: Act as a technology mentor, developing your team for sustained organizational success.
Culture of Collaboration: Promote a culture of ownership, accountability, and cross-IT collaboration while encouraging an external network for industry insights and partnerships.
Your Academic Background & Professional Experience:
A degree in computer science, computer engineering, electrical engineering, or a related field.
Over 15 years of progressive experience in technology leadership, with a track record in large-scale multifaceted technology products.
Expertise in identifying and deploying new IT technologies and development processes within medium to large IT organizations.
Experience with IT technology, partners, and vendors
Your Technical Skills:
In-depth knowledge of technology ecosystems, including SaaS, IaaS, PaaS, Cloud, and more.
Hands-on experience with information management practices, system development life cycle management, and IT service management.
