Head of Quality Assurance and Management Technology

<

p>Issue and maintain EU Declarations of Conformity and ensure CE conformity for products.

<

p>Generate and manage compliance verification documentation.

<

p>Ensure conformity with global and regional regulatory standards, including RoHS, REACH, SVHC, POP, and PEAS 

<

p>Quality Assurance:

<

ul>

<

p>Oversee the procurement of product approvals and serve as the contact point for test centers (TÜV, UL, CSA, BACnet, AMEV, Cybersecurity, etc.).

<

p>Lead internal product and process audits to identify and implement improvements.

<

p>Collaborate with the procurement department to ensure compliance with supplier audits, quality, and environmental contracts.

<

p>Address concerns related to conflict minerals and dangerous substances in products. 

<

p>Software Quality Management:

<

ul>

<

p> Support external software developers and testers in achieving product quality goals.

<

p> Establish software validation processes, including interoperability testing and customer-oriented testing of ß-systems.

<

p> Participate in standardization committees to help shape future quality guidelines. 

<

p>Team Leadership:

<

ul>

<

p>Manage a team of 15 employees, including those involved in hardware, software, and quality control.

<

p>Oversee ongoing planning, maintenance, and monitoring of quality in development and production areas.

<

p>Ensure that quality requirements are met across product development, procurement, and production (hardware and software).

<

p>Work closely with quality management system leaders to implement quality and environmental objectives.

p>Continuous Improvement:

<

ul>

<

p>Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure quality improvements throughout the entire product lifecycle.

<

p>Drive synergies between hardware and software quality teams, ensuring efficient resource use and team collaboration. 

<

p>Qualifications: 

<

p>- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering, Quality Management, or a related field.

<

p>- Proven experience in a quality management role within hardware and software industries.

<

p>- Strong knowledge of EU and international quality regulations (RoHS, REACH, CE conformity).

<

p>- Experience with product approvals and standardization bodies (TÜV, UL, CSA, BACnet, etc.).

<

p>- Leadership experience managing multidisciplinary teams in a quality control or assurance environment.

<

p>- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.

p>Preferred Skills:

p>- Experience with cybersecurity and software validation processes.

<

p>- Understanding of conflict minerals, dangerous substances in products, and global supplier management.
