Lab Technician

Your key responsibilities

• Execute and control experimental work according to a work program / trial protocol and complying with SHEQ requirements or other standards relevant for the work and instructions to achieve scientifically consistent results in a safe way
• Execute trials consistently and accurately to achieve scientifically relevant experimental results.
• Prepare appropriate and timely reporting of results and propose conclusions and follow-up activities to the Scientists or other appropriate stakeholders.
• Actively contribute and maintain the laboratory organization. Follow stablished protocols to achieve efficient lab work. Minimize risk of SHEQ incidences
• Create, develop, and implement missing techniques as required.
• Cooperation with other groups and members of the organization

Your experience

• BSc., in chemistry, pharma or life sciences or equivalent
• Ideally experience as a technician in chemistry and/or pharma sectors.
• Experience in a laboratory environment in for instance:
  • Lab scale method development
  • Process development
  • Laboratory techniques (e.g. DSC, Chromatogrphy, IR/FTIR Spectoroscopy, etc...)
• Experience with lab software such ELN and/or LIMS/Sample Manage
• Accurate and methodical, the candidate has experience with organizing tasks, consistent and continuous trial execution.
• Consistent data archiving and observation reporting using the appropriate provided tools
