Managing Director

Lead the operations and strategic growth of Tradeon SA, a Swiss-based trade finance company specializing in financing real commodity flows through structured purchase and sale agreements.
Ensure that the company operates in accordance with the requirements of its affiliation with a Swiss Self-Regulatory Organization (SRO), including adherence to Swiss anti-money laundering (AML) and lending regulations.
Originate, structure, and execute trade finance transactions across global commodity markets.
Develop and implement new investment structures to broaden investor access to trade finance assets.
Define and drive company strategies to support business expansion and market positioning.
Lead business development initiatives, including identifying new markets, products, and partnerships.
Act as a central relationship manager for investors, with a focus on attracting and maintaining investment into trade finance assets.
Oversee all budgeting, governance, and operational activities of the company.
Establish and maintain strong relationships with Swiss and international financial institutions to support transaction execution, cash management, and client onboarding.
Lead corporate governance initiatives, oversee internal policies, and drive organizational development.
Supervise cross-functional teams, including legal, tax, audit, and operational functions.

Candidate Profile:
Education:
University degree in Finance, Economics, Business Management, or a related field.
Further education or certifications in financial management, trade operations, or corporate governance are a plus.

Experience:
At least 10 years of professional experience in commodity trading and trade finance, preferably in leading international trading houses
Broad experience across the full commodity supply chain lifecycle, including operations, risk management, and trading.
Deep knowledge of multiple commodity classes (e.g., energy, metals, agricultural products)
Track record in portfolio management of commodities trade finance assets, including proven analytical skills in financial modelling
Proven ability to lead transaction structuring, risk management, and cross-border trade finance operations.
Hands-on experience setting up and managing financial structures, including operational frameworks and regulatory compliance setups.
Previous involvement in the development and management of trade finance platforms or investment funds.

Languages:
Fluent in English and French.
Knowledge of other languages is considered a strong asset.

Skills:
Deep understanding of commodity trading flows, structured finance, and global trade operations.
Solid expertise in financial reporting, risk management, portfolio oversight, and strategic planning.
Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage cross-functional teams and drive organizational development.
Knowledge of Swiss financial regulatory requirements, including SRO affiliation and AML frameworks.
Excellent interpersonal, negotiation, and communication skills.

Salary Range: CHF 170,000.00 per year depending on experience.
