Optical Engineer Internship

Position Overview: The successful candidate will contribute to the design and testing of advanced optical systems, conducting hands-on experiments in our laboratory to develop and optimize optical components. This role will involve collaboration with a dynamic team to address complex challenges and improve our product offerings.

Qualifications:
-In training Bachelors, Master’s degree, or higher in a relevant field (physics, optical engineering, photonics, etc).
-Proficiency in optics simulation software; experience with Zemax is preferred.
-Practical experience in building and testing optical experiments.
-Mechanical design experience.
-Strong independent problem-solving abilities.
-Programming experience, particularly in Matlab or Python.

Tasks:
You will be expected to contribute to building and testing optical setups supporting our publicly funded projects: Hyperimage, Omicsens and Exquisite.
