Part-time teacher of VISUAL ARTS (30% - temporary)

We are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic and inspiring part-time Visual Arts teacher from January 2025. This is a temporary position.

Le Rēgent International School is a 4-18 independent co-educational boarding and day school. Founded in 2015, it is the youngest and the most modern international boarding school in Switzerland. It is a dynamic and growing IB World School, which provides a multilingual and multicultural educational environment to 250 students from 45 countries. Located in Crans in the Valais canton, Le Rēgent’s Outdoor Education programme takes full advantage of its stunning location to provide students with the personal skills and understanding of the environment that will serve them well in the future.
Le Rēgent follows a rigorous academic programme in English in preparation for the International Baccalaureate (IB) Diploma Programme and its own Rēgent Graduation Diploma, while nurturing the individual talents of each student with its diverse extracurricular offering, including sports, arts, music and mountain activities.

Students in both Junior and Senior Schools follow an adapted version of the UK curriculum leading to the IB Diploma. Art is an obligatory subject for Grades 6 to 8 (UK Years 7 to 9) and a popular option in the pre-IB programme in Grades 9 and 10. The school offers HL Visual Arts at the IB and it is a popular Group 6 subject.
