Role Overview

Techfirm is seeking a Project Controls Professional to support a key CAPEX project at Lonza Visp. This is a 1-year assignment with flexible workload (50–80% per month). The role offers partial remote work, but candidates able to maintain a strong on-site presence are preferred.

Key Responsibilities
- Provide cost reporting, cash forecasting, and cost rebookings for a major CAPEX project involving two legal entities.
- Deliver risk assessments, financial evaluations, and performance analysis.
- Support the project and finance teams in decision making to ensure successful project completion.
- Develop, implement, and maintain project reporting and cost tracking systems tailored to project, management, and client needs.
- Maintain and analyze project schedules, progress measurement, cost estimates/variances, change orders, expenditures, and risk mitigation plans.
- Prepare and report on estimated costs at completion, manage methodology, and oversee change management processes.
- Collaborate closely with on-site project and finance teams.

Requirements
- Proven experience in project controls, especially in CAPEX projects.
- Strong skills in cost management, forecasting, and financial analysis.
- Familiarity with projects involving multiple legal entities is an asset.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Fluency in English is required; German language skills are a strong advantage.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
