AgroSustain (https://www.agrosustain.ch/) – a one-stop-shop solution for natural plant protection. We aim to reduce food waste and support sustainable food production by developing farm-to-fork solutions, such as biological fungicides, biostimulants and edible coatings. At present, we are commercialising the edible coating of AgroSustain, Afondo.
Job Description
We are seeking a dynamic and motivated sales manager to join our team. The selected candidate will be responsible for driving sales growth, managing customer relationships, and representing AgroSustain to its B2B customers. This role requires a proactive individual with a passion for agriculture and a deep understanding of the agricultural sector and fresh food supply chain.
Key Responsibilities
• Build and maintain strong relationships with producers, distributors and retailers;
• Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve sales targets;
• Manage and grow existing accounts by providing exceptional service and support;
• Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer feedback to identify
opportunities and threats;
• Represent AgroSustain at trade shows, events, and industry gatherings;
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of sales activities and customer
interactions. Requirements
• Proven experience as a Sales Representative or similar role (5+ years), preferably in fruit & vegetables supply chain;
• In-depth understanding of fresh fruit and vegetable supply chain, including having access to retailers;
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills;
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively;
• Fluent in English; Spanish, German and additional languages are a plus;
• Extensive travel.
