The Technology team is seeking to build out our existing and next-generation greenfield platforms to become best-of-breed cross-commodity-asset-class systems with a focus on automation, optimization, innovation, and control. They actively work and interact with Front Office Trading, Risk, Operations, Physical Commodity Logistics, Finance, Treasury, Credit, Legal and Compliance to ensure the systems they deliver are on par or exceeding expectations.

The Role
The successful candidate will be based in Mercuria’s Geneva office working within the SAP team. This will include activities on many of SAP systems: S/4HANA, Fiori, PO/PI, ODATA, BW (connectors). As an ABAP expert, you will be the key point of contact for the business. You will be in charge, supported by SAP team, of the definition, design and implementation of custom solutions (projects and support activities).

The Responsibilities
ABAP design and optimization
ABAP Processes responsible and reviewer
Check that all interfaces with SAP instances work fine
Challenge existing ABAP and propose potential enhancements or optimizations

Technical Expertise - required
Around 5 years in SAP ABAP design and development
Proven experience with SAP ODATA design and development
Experience with ALE interfaces and Idoc configuration/management
Solid skills and understandings in Interfaces design and management
Good understanding of Financial and Accounting concepts
Fluent in English and experience working within a corporate culture environment

Technical Expertise - desirable
SAP PI/PO design and development
SAP Fiori and in SAP UI5 design and development
SAP AIF design and development
