Job Description

  • Oversee the end-to-end payroll process for the company, ensuring compliance with local and international regulations.
  • Manage and lead a small team of payroll specialists, providing guidance, support, and development opportunities.
  • Ensure accurate and timely processing of payroll, including salary calculations, deductions, and benefits administration.
  • Maintain and update payroll records, ensuring data integrity and confidentiality.
  • Collaborate with HR, Finance, and other departments to ensure seamless payroll operations and resolve any payroll-related issues.
  • Stay up-to-date with changes in payroll laws and regulations, and implement necessary updates to payroll processes.
  • Prepare and submit payroll reports to management and external authorities as required.
  • Handle payroll audits and ensure compliance with internal and external audit requirements.
  • Develop and implement payroll policies and procedures to improve efficiency and accuracy.
  • Provide excellent customer service to employees regarding payroll inquiries and issues.

The Successful Applicant

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Human Resources, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in payroll management, preferably in a multinational company.
  • Proven experience in managing a small team.
  • Bilingual in French and English, with excellent written and verbal communication skills in both languages.
  • Strong knowledge of payroll laws and regulations in Switzerland and internationally.
  • Proficiency in payroll software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
  • High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
