We are seeking for an experienced Senior System Engineer to join EPAM and support our client from the financial services area in their office in Geneva.

This dynamic role involves analyzing, designing, advising and translating solutions in a quest to curtail existing Azure Cloud costs. The substantial challenge lies in planning the cost-effective migration of multiple applications and fresh implementations from on-prem, ensuring effective cost control on Azure.

Responsibilities

  • Deploy and integrate a complex core banking system on Azure
  • Work closely with technical experts, architects and business teams to align technical solutions with functional requirements and strategic initiatives
  • Implement continuous integration (code quality, security policies, build strategy)
  • Implement continuous delivery (release strategy, release management workflow, deployment patterns)

Requirements

  • Excellent knowledge of the Azure infrastructure
  • Strong systems integration skills in data context
  • Good knowledge of modern data patterns
  • Strong knowledge of Landing Zones
  • Proven experience with scripting languages
  • Proficient communication skills in English are a must, while knowledge of the French language is a significant advantage
