Looking for a part time Shopping Centre Manager that supports and is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations, management, and overall performance of a business, education, or community centre in Switzerland. This role ensures efficient operations, excellent customer service, and the achievement of the centre’s objectives, while complying with local regulations and cultural expectations.

Key Responsibilities can vary depending on your chosen workload:

  • Operational Management:

Oversee all daily operations of the centre to ensure smooth functioning.
Develop and implement operational policies and procedures in line with company standards.
Ensure compliance with Swiss legal and regulatory requirements, including health and safety standards.
Manage budgets, control expenses, and ensure financial targets are met.

  • Staff Management:

Recruit, train, and supervise centre staff, fostering a productive and motivated team.
Assign duties and responsibilities to team members, ensuring efficient workflow.
Monitor staff performance and provide feedback and development opportunities.

  • Customer Experience:

Maintain high levels of customer satisfaction by addressing client needs promptly and professionally.
Act as the primary point of contact for customers, resolving issues effectively.
Build and nurture relationships with clients, partners, and stakeholders.

  • Facility Management:

Ensure the centre is well-maintained, clean, and welcoming.
Oversee maintenance, repairs, and upgrades to facilities and equipment.
Coordinate with external vendors and contractors when needed.

  • Business Development:

Identify opportunities to grow the centre’s services or offerings.
Develop marketing strategies to attract new clients and retain existing ones.
Collaborate with local businesses and organizations to increase visibility and partnerships.

  • Reporting and Administration:

Prepare regular reports on centre performance, including financial and operational metrics.
Maintain accurate records of all activities, transactions, and customer interactions.
Liaise with senior management, providing updates and seeking approvals as necessary.

  • Qualifications:

Educational Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Management, or a related field.

Experience:
Proven experience in centre or facility management, preferably in Switzerland.
Experience in team leadership and operational management.

Skills:
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in local languages (German, French, or Italian, depending on the location) and English.
- Problem-solving and decision-making skills.
- Financial management and budgeting expertise.
