Description
The Part-Time Talent Manager will play a pivotal role in developing and managing HR processes, supporting recruitment, and fostering a positive work environment. You will further play a crucial part in establishing essential administrative processes and overseeing office management.
This position requires a well-rounded HR professional with experience in early-stage startups who can dedicate minimum 3 days a week to support our growing team.
Responsibilities:
• Recruitment & Talent Acquisition:
o Support leadership in defining roles and developing job descriptions.
o Manage job postings and conduct initial screening for priority roles.
o Coordinate interviews with leadership.
o Define a simple, scalable onboarding process for new hires.
o Handle exit interviews and guide leadership on offboarding best practices.
o Set up contracts and handle HR requests.
• Office Management, Policies & Compliance:
o Develop and implement office policies, set standards and procedures, measure results against these standards, and make necessary adjustments.
o Maintain HR policies and ensure compliance with local labour laws.
o Organise office operations and procedures, prepare payroll, manage
correspondence, create filing systems, and review and approve supply requests
o Ensure compliance with essential health, safety, and employment regulations.
• Team Management
o Ensure HR incentives are set, communicated and reviewed
o Guide and support leadership in team feedback and foster an open communication environment.
o Help organize team activities.
o Act as a point of contact for HR queries.
Qualifications:
• 3+ years of experience in HR roles, ideally within early-stage startups or fast-growing
environments.
• Strong knowledge of HR practices, policies, and compliance, with the ability to develop HR systems from the ground up.
• Strong organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks in a part-time capacity.
• Experience with recruiting and talent management, particularly for technical or specialized roles.
• Self-starter with the ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, evolving environment.
• Ability to manage processes and establish standards.
• Excellent written and spoken English language skills.
