Transaction Manager Private Infrastructure Equity (m/w)

Description

Responsibilities:

  • Support the acquisitions team with sourcing, screening, and conducting due diligence of investment opportunities across all infrastructure sub-sectors
  • Lead acquisition and divestment processes for individual transactions, including due diligence, valuation, data analysis, Q&A coordination, project management, synthesis of findings, and bid submissions
  • Structure, negotiate, and execute transactions in close collaboration with external tax and legal advisors (e.g., SPAs, SHAs, BCAs, and bid structuring)
  • Review and prepare financial models for valuation and sensitivity analysis in collaboration with external service providers
  • Prepare investment memoranda and other presentation materials to support investment decision-making processes
  • Implement business plan initiatives (e.g., refinancings, PPAs, replacement of service providers) and manage 100-day plans for acquired assets and portfolio companies
  • Conduct market analysis and support the preparation of internal reports, presentations, and marketing materials in coordination with the broader team
  • Assume asset management and asset ownership responsibilities as required

Your profile:

  • A minimum of 8 years of experience as a transaction manager in the field of direct infrastructure investments; broad experience in core infrastructure is an advantage
  • Proven project management skills, with the ability to lead complex projects effectively, to the highest standard, and within deadlines
  • Positive and persuasive personality with strong communication and negotiation skills, both internally and externally
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities, with an accurate, detail-oriented approach and a flair for both quantitative and contractual matters
  • Highly committed, reliable, and dynamic individual who is willing to go the extra mile and can lead negotiations in both English and German
  • University degree in corporate finance, economics, natural sciences, or engineering, with solid knowledge in corporate finance and valuation
